AI is Genderless, how it can help or hurt us

AI is real, its not going away, we can't wish it away. Its like Air, Water, Electricity, indoor plumbing. Literally the next Utiility. Just like the internet or anything else. 

We all use Google, or some search engine daily to look up that recipe, or find that movie time, or help with that research paper, it was based on Queries. Search and hunt style information gathering. 

Thats DEAD. It has all changed. We have entered a new information age of Generative information gathering. 

I want to pause and address a "redditor" who said "Using AI is lazy, and I won't read anything created by an AI"  I was blown away by the naivety and rage in this comment. I surmised a few things. First this was probably someone will little understanding of AI, probably threatened by it, and drinking some anti AI cool-aid doom social thinking.  

However to be fair.... I get the Threatened by it. I see it as a MASSIVE Danger to job security, to jobs in general.  I see it as a danger to who controls ALL the information. I see it as a danger to how it might be weaponized. I see it as possibly an extinction event.

OK Lets talk a little bit about the bad.

I said "I see it as a danger to job security". I was in a talk, advanced training really and the trainer was FULL on in on AI and they shared some stories. One was a company that rolled out AI, and agents and this company said they have this system doing the job of 100,000 employees.  WOW!. think aboout that. Those were people jobs, with paychecks, or potential people jobs with paychecks. Yup no longer needed. You call your insurance , your cell provider, your cable company and ya.. you will probably get stuck talking to an AI Agent in a loop. Same with SMS messages. no feelings, no human connection just cold hard business. Which btw does not give a. F about you. 

Next I said "AI controls all the information" I was listening to a discussion on AI, specifically Elon Musks AI GROK. and the AI when asked some questions about a subject gave a factual honest answer. One which Elon didn't like. Fast forward a few days. suddenly the ai was "Fixed" (This is called trained) and no longer gave the answer it had given. 

Now think about this. A human didn't like an answer an AI gave and consequently changed the answer it could give.  This has MASSIVE ramifications. Like who polices the trainers? who keeps AI honest, real, fair, objective? This scares the crap out of me.  OK step forward a bit more, now the AI is privately owned and you get a flavor of truth but not all of it anymore. 

Next I said there is a danger that AI can be weaponized. Ya... indeed. The white-house is seeking and already using AI to track people. Anthropic said NO to the Trump Administration when it wanted full access to AI with no controls to build AI into weapon systems and HUMAN surveillance systems. Whereas ChatGPT, signed the contract. No ethics, no morals, don't care, just give us a check. 

Finally I said, I see it as possibly an extinction event. Lots of Sci-Fi and hollywood movies about this one. Sky-net / Terminator anyone? I don't have to say more.

ok so with those things out there and in very brief detail, let us move on. my hands hurt from typing :).  

How can AI help or possibly support transgender people. 

First Governments push people to marry, and have babies. Right now the Conservative Fascist Religious Right (Heritage Foundation looking at you) want women to stay home and have babies. Why? two things, Women need to be subservient (Cow'd) to men. They need babies for armies and for paying taxes. Women have one purpose in the eyes of the MAGA and conservative religious right. Have babies. Thats it.   Yet with AI... we don't need babies anymore. In a sense AI will ease the demands of population. 

Second AI is genderless and we all use it. There is not sexism, genderism, hateism. it is what it is. It is respected and it is allowed to thrive. If everyone can use an AI daily that is genderless. What does this mean for the term gender when applied to a person? I believe it in a sense shows gender does not matter. It is the entity that matters, the person, the AI that matters.  Worrying about what Genitals a person has has always beens a silly argument and stupid. AI shows that gender (or lack of gender), is not something important to dwell on or get stuck on. 

In my Mind AI at the moment is neither good or bad, gendered or genderless. It just is. perhaps as a society as a human race we need to acknowledge that focusing, fixating, weaponizing politics on gender alignment is and has always been silly.

  So this is a special post...  I tried a dating app... and my experience was bad, except for the one exception of someone I really connected with. Yet Bad regarding the app.....Oh for so many reasons which I will go over after my share... yet first I have something important I want to say and its also a shout out to a person I met who in a sense gave me hope.  I met someone in Seattle through a dating app (ya I gave one a try) Their name Meghan. She has her PHD degree, lives a few hours from me, exceptional human being. We are practically the same age, same interests, educated, see eye to eye on politics, religion, same career backgrounds. A lot of the same likes, hobbies, interests. We just have a lot in common. They had one picture that I got to see of them and I found them attractive. Thinking...'ok... so this is going well.' We have seen it over and over again, anyone that studies history, any history will see it. Governments, leadership, Organizations, usually RELIGIOUS organizations trying to steer and control people. Defining what can and can't be done.  AND!!!
