I"m not going to listen to facts, I don't believe you, I'm not convinced - Part 1 - Sports

I transitioned a while back, and then worked to align my gender, with my world. My Work recognizes me as female, the SSA, my BC, my taxes, my government, my children, my ex wife, my cousins, my nieces and nephews, my grand children, and one of three siblings recognize me as female. But then there are those that throw out the old tired comments

"well my faith", or "men in a woman's bathroom and the poor little girls...", or "men shouldn't compete in women's sports..that man broke that woman's nose!!", or the worst "I'm not convinced" translates to "You have to convince me".

look at any bathroom and there isn't a vagina or a penis painted on the door it is a picture of gender presentation. Period. It is time and time again proven by records and documents that transgender people are not the problem in bathrooms. Its the crazy ding bats who stir up fears and nightmare of evil doing, ala hollywoods best and most terrible works.

The sports arguments are awful.

Let us look at three cases related to sports and look at the facts.

Case 1 - the Marathon

The London Marathon incident...where a transgender woman competed and the media spun it as

"trans woman wins women's marathon!"

But the number that got buried was that she came 6,171st out of more than 24,000 women, finishing 21,617th out of 48,694 overall. The winner of the women's mass event finished in 2 hours 36 minutes. It took her 4 hours 11 minutes — one hour and 20 minutes slower than the winner of her own age category.

A few other things that got buried: the elite races in the London Marathon are subject to World Athletics rules, which exclude transgender women from professional female competition. The mass event is not subject to those rules and offers open entry. The only award issued for the mass event is a participation medal.

So to summarize what actually happened: a 54-year-old trans woman ran a charity marathon, finished in the middle of a 48,000-person recreational field, won absolutely nothing, and received no prize of any kind.

The outrage machine turned that into an existential crisis for women's athletics. There are other similar running events all end the same way 1/2 truth weaponized.

Case 2 - Lia Thomas - Swimming and Diving

Or how about the Lia Thomas. Ya... big tado she WON a womens Swim meet!!! The sky is falling. see...seee.. transgender athletes are superior!!!".

NOT SO FAST. She won, one event in three she competed in. What the critic fail to mention is that like most track meets athletes perform in many events. Lea placed 1st in one event, FIFTH place / tided with Riley Grimes, and EIGTH place (dead last) on the third even.

Case 3 - Women's Boxing

This is probably the most weaponized on by the far right pushing agenda.

The anti-trans people broke stories that a MAN competed in a woman's boxing event and broke a woman boxers nose and they had no chance"

What happened: Algerian boxer Imane Khelif faced Italian Angela Carini. After absorbing a few solid right hands and fearing her nose was broken, Carini retreated to her corner and the referee waved off the contest after 46 seconds. Khelif went on to win the gold medal.

The Facts; "The Algerian boxer was born female, was registered female, lived her life as a female, boxed as a female, has a female passport. This is not a transgender case." Khelif is not transgender. She is a cisgender woman who has competed in women's boxing her entire career.

J.K. Rowling, ya that loving wonderful good person, you know the one that writes the books about love and inclusion, and fighting oppression and evil in the world. Well...she posted a photo from the fight saying "Could any picture sum up our new men's rights movement better?" and described Khelif as "a male." Elon Musk co-signed a post claiming "men don't belong in women's sports." Trump and Italian PM Meloni piled on. The entire social media machine ran with "transgender boxer attacks woman" — when the athlete in question is not transgender, was never transgender, and was verified female by the IOC.

The Controversy started in Russia. Khelif was reportedly disqualified from the 2023 International Boxing Association (IBA) championship due to an unspecified gender eligibility test. The IBA Russian president claimed DNA tests showed XY chromosomes. However, the IBA is a discredited organization — the IOC had already stripped it of sanctioning authority. The IOC called the process "sudden and arbitrary" and strongly reaffirmed the two athletes were eligible to compete in Paris, calling the IBA's process "flawed.

Again... 1/2 truths, weaponized against transgender people and eaten up by the ignorant @#%@#% of the world.  A cisgender Algerian woman was falsely labeled a "man" and a "transgender athlete" to fuel the culture war. The people screaming loudest about "protecting women" were directing harassment at... a woman. And in doing so, they demonstrated the problem; belief overriding fact, with a political agenda driving the whole thing. Its all weaponize... Trump and the Gestapo are terrible people and anyone that blindly follows them is also a terrible person

Sigh...

Is exhausting.
