Being Invisible Is Wrong

We are living in a time whereby terrible rotten people and organizations (https://glaad.org/gap/) look and seek actively to remove rights from citizens in the United States. The Current GOP Administration,  MAGA Base, and Right Wing Christian Nationalist Organizations Tolerate (and look the other way) murder, violence, hate speech AND are actively driving oppression, division, and the removal of rights and liberties from US Citizens and to be real this is a global problem and applies to other countries too.

Stepping back there is a famous Saying

This was originally coined and written by philosopher George Santayana in his 1905 work The Life of Reason.

Thinking about this....we all need to put down our phones and think about what this means.

What this means is History gives us a guide of what Evil and Bad looks like. Where mistakes were made and the COST in lives and the RUIN that was a result of Evil and Bad. It is a guide to avoid allowing these mistakes again.

In regards to human rights and dignity, liberty and self determination. In the U.S, the following people and organizations have been identified as anti human rights: (https://glaad.org/gap/). AND to them the "Ends" Justifies the Means. Their Ends......Their Desires for what to them would be a perfect order and world. Hitler anyone???

Looking at what is happening now and looking at history...to me...the Ends... is the rise of a NEW Nazi Fascist State where by rights and liberties are gone (unless you are white and bend the knee). AND....these forces are using any means to achieve them; procedural tactics — gerrymandering, gut-and-go bill maneuvers (KANSAS), court-stripping and loading, suppressing dissent, ICE on streets, terror, delegitimizing the press, normalizing political violence as the other side's fault, testing how far security forces can go without consequence(ICE murdering people), changing history and shutting down museums, Art, Books and Facts and attempting to replace with alternate facts. Attacking Universities and removing funding (Harvard) on and on....

These actions are Sinister and un-american

ok...deep breath. I hope you are still with me. 

Now What does this have to do with being invisible?

We cannot be invisible; rather we need to be more visible. We need to bang pots and pans together, Fly the American flag along side the PRIDE flag. 

Online...in social media. call out Trolls that state lies and false statements or comments of hate. Trolls hate the truth, the light, and they will scuttle away. Fight Lies with Facts. Fight Fear with Reason. 

Call out the bots, see my other blog about AI and bots (Facebook is FULL OF THEM). 

Demand moderation in social media and unsubscribe from those feeds and sources that won't do it. Likely they are part of the problem (MAGA watering holes in disguise).

March and participate in protests

Demand your representatives in positions of privilege act! not just tweet, or do a youtube video but boots on the ground, file lawsuits, act and if they won't vote them out.

Network with others....

Spread evidence and documentation. I have talked about this before. FASCIST want to hide all the bad, don't let them. Spread videos, and documents. IF YOU ARE A CLERK  and have access to evidence... consider leaking it. 

Don't Allow Religious Fanatics following a book written 1000's of years ago which has NO context of science or FACTS dictate modern society and policy. Religion needs to stay out of policy and government AND our US Constitution says exactly that. Demand this.

Educate yourself on WHO the bad guys are; people and organizations (https://glaad.org/gap/) that are moving to take human rights away must be shut down and denied such terrible action.

Regardless of your age situation, you are NOT invisible and now is NOT a time to say "oh well someone else will fix it."  We are all in this together whether we like it or not and you can be an activist for liberty and justice for all. 

Diversity, Choice, LIBERTY and Self Determination is an American value, don't let the bastards take that away.

To that woman I was becoming friends with who disappeared, dating apps, and ... My Honest Face

  So this is a special post...  I tried a dating app... and my experience was bad, except for the one exception of someone I really connected with. Yet Bad regarding the app.....Oh for so many reasons which I will go over after my share... yet first I have something important I want to say and its also a shout out to a person I met who in a sense gave me hope.  I met someone in Seattle through a dating app (ya I gave one a try) Their name Meghan. She has her PHD degree, lives a few hours from me, exceptional human being. We are practically the same age, same interests, educated, see eye to eye on politics, religion, same career backgrounds. A lot of the same likes, hobbies, interests. We just have a lot in common. They had one picture that I got to see of them and I found them attractive. Thinking...'ok... so this is going well.' We have seen it over and over again, anyone that studies history, any history will see it. Governments, leadership, Organizations, usually RELIGIOUS organizations trying to steer and control people. Defining what can and can't be done.  AND!!!
