A Piece Of SOAP

 I was listening to a story about a woman who lived in Cuba as a child. Her life was so difficult that they would wake up wondering what they might eat (if anything) for breakfast. They wore the same shoes for 3 or more years and Soap, A piece of Soap was a luxury. 

And I concluded that Americans are rotten and spoiled. 

This thought was earlier confirmed by my experiences traveling to Costa Rica, renting a 4x4 and just experiencing the country and its people. All of them kind and nice though not having a lot of money. 

So how do we fix America?

MAGA thinks it is achieved through Force, Oppression, Control(ICE), Fear and Hate. Division. 

And Right Wing Christian Nationalist (RWCN) think it is through weaponized versus of condemnation and burning in hell if you don't conform to their idea of what their bible says (See my blog that talks about weaponizing the bible). Like Their Religion is the only one. Laughable...

But we all know that doesn't work. Oppression doesn't work, hate doesn't work. 

And....I want to live in the country where we love and celebrate our differences. Where Religion and Money (Citizens United) are removed from government and elections. 

I want to live in a country that really honors the idea of "Land of the Free" For all of us. 

I want to live in a country that champions "Liberty and Justice For all" Not a country where the Rich and powerful get to have it (Liberty) and side step it (Justice). 

Our Country was founded on Immigrants. Remember the Saturday morning PSA cartoon about how our Ancestors left Oppressive England to seek freedom from it. What happened to that? 

What happened to the idea of "The Great Melting Pot" of diversity. Or The Statue of Liberties Cry of Freedom? "

  • "Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,"
  • "The wretched refuse of your teeming shore."
  • "Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,"
  • "I lift my lamp beside the golden door!

    What is happening is the Current Administration is using propaganda and manipulation to divide commom people All who are struggling and suffering. Meanwhile the Trump Family Used the Government to secure mining rights in Kazakhstan and then assigned Trumps Sons to Oversee and Run it. Trump has also done insider trading and manipulated Crypto Currency markets. They literally are self serving. 

    Meanwhile we have people all over the us that can't get a living wage. We have People pitted against each other. And we have Organizations flooding elections with money because SCOTUS thinks that Corporations and Rich People should be able to dump money into campaigns. 

    Insanity. 

    So.. ya we the people struggle.. like the young woman who can't even get SOAP. while the Rich Get Richer and Pit the Right Against the Left when really the problem is the RICH 1% get away with everything,

    This is really about the Top(the rich) Vs Bottom not the Right Versus Left. 

    Vote out the corruption. Unite and stop buying the propaganda.

     I recently started getting back into social media because I am resting at home healing from surgery and I don't have a whole lot I can do but lay in bed.  So....I started doing social media and what a dumpster fire some of it is.     We have seen it over and over again, anyone that studies history, any history will see it. Governments, leadership, Organizations, usually RELIGIOUS organizations trying to steer and control people. Defining what can and can't be done.  AND!!! There's a pattern that shows up again and again when governments and religious institutions decide a group of people has gotten too free, too visible, or too inconvenient to the order they want to maintain.     Organized Religion Is A Cage - RWCN - Right Wing Christian Nationism

      Organized Religion is a cage.  A cage used to control and direct people to do biddings and explain what people don't understand.  The Salem witch trials are a great example of this.  To Sum what happened. There was a town full of very religious puritan people. with STRICT hierarchy of importance with Men at the top and women at the bottom. These people also kept women slaves. 11 year old girls. Just all round good people (sarcasm). So what happens is winter comes and ..people start getting sick and don't get better. The leadership can't fix it. What to do??? They can't explain i!!!, they are looking silly.. So... it  must be SATAN! The DEVIL!
